Direct visualization and molecular simulation of dewpoint pressure of a confined fluid in sub-10 nm slit pores

摘要: Abstract The fluid phase behavior characterization at nanoscale is a challenging and significant problem for many processes such as polymer analysis, drug delivery, carbon dioxide storage, petroleum production, among others. It commonly accepted that the in sub-10 nm pores considerably different than bulk environment. In this study, experiments using lab-on-a-chip approach has been conducted to measure visualize n-Butane condensation pressure nano-scale slit of 50 nm, 10 nm, 4 nm. result shows dewpoint can deviate high 14% from its original value due confinement effect. Molecular simulation also performed with purpose model experimental results. results show good agreement data prove impact
