摘要: In this report we study estimation of time-delays in linear dynamical systems with additive noise. Estimating is a common engineering problem, e.g. automatic control, system identification and signal processing. The purpose work to test evaluate certain class methods for time-delay estimation, especially control applications mind. principle the estimate several discrete-time models model structure different explicit time-delays. estimated whose has lowest mean square difference between true output signal. are evaluated experimentally aid simulations plots RMS error confidence intervals cases. The results are: (OE) but very slow. Low orders give best result. ARX higher fast. High An prefiltered input signals was also tested. It an that nearly as good OE fast not unfiltered ARX. high denominator polynomial low numerator polynomial.
