摘要: In the current research, iron oxide nanoparticles were functionalized by acrylic acid polymerization. The Fe3O4/PAA core-shell utilized for modification of cation exchange membranes. Ion membranes prepared solution casting technique using resin powder as functional group agent and tetrahydrofuran solvent. FTIR analysis proved formation PAA on nanoparticles. SOM images also showed uniform particle distribution membrane relatively. water content was declined from 30 to 17 % increase nanoparticle ratio in matrix. contact angle measurements that surface hydrophilicity improved utilizing potential, permselectivity, transport number initially concentration then began decrease more additive concentration. Membrane ionic flux permeability enhanced loading up 0.5 %wt matrix decreasing trend 4 %wt. areal electrical resistance decreased sharply utilization exhibited superior selectivity low at neutral condition compared other acidic alkaline environments.
