摘要: This chapter reviews the current knowledge of role niche and control stem cell self-renewal using Drosophila male female germ lines as model systems. The critical decision between differentiation must be tightly controlled. First, asymmetric partitioning fate determinants in mother can produce daughter cells that follow different fates, even though two reside same microenvironment. Second, orientation plane division place microenvironments, which may then specify choices through intercellular signaling. Ultimately, number, division, self-renewal, are likely to regulated by integration intrinsic factors extrinsic cues provided surrounding microenvironment, now known niche. Adhesion either an underlying basement membrane or support appears play important holding within close signals. In addition, could provide polarity orient so upon one is displaced outside into alternative environment encourages differentiation. Data suggests neural distributed throughout adult central nervous system, local environment, niche, determine their developmental fate. Stem niches have been proposed a maintenance line, hematopoietic epidermis, intestinal epithelium, system.
