摘要: Intraoperative evaluation of blood perfusion in the brain cortex is an important but hitherto unresolved problem. Our aim was to demonstrate feasibility cerebral microcirculation assessment during open surgery by using camera-based photoplethysmography (cbPPG) synchronized with electrocardiograph. Cortical flow monitored five patients different diagnoses. Two cases (tumor resection and extra-intracranial bypass grafting) are presented detail. Blood-flow parameters were visualized after processing images recorded under green-light illumination before surgical intervention. In all cases, successfully >95% brain. Distributions pulsation amplitude, a parameter related cortical perfusion; pulse arrival time; blood-pressure-pulse shape calculated high spatial resolution (in every pixel). Changes supply caused intervention clearly revealed. We have shown that temporal spread time spatiotemporal variability very sensitive markers circulatory disturbances. The cbPPG system offers new approach objective blood-flow changes proposed allows for contactless monitoring real resolution, thus providing useful information optimization minimization tissue damage.
