摘要: SUMMARY A model which allows capture probabilities to vary by individuals is introduced for multiple recapture studies on closed populations. The set of individual modelled as a random sample from an arbitrary probability distribution over the unit interval. We show that frequencies are sufficient statistic. nonparametric estimator population size developed based generalized jackknife; this found be linear combination frequencies. Finally, tests underlying assumptions presented.
