摘要: We summarise recent developments on synthesis models for massive star populations with a particular emphasis Wolf-Rayet stars. Quantitative analyses of the stellar content WR galaxies are reviewed. Comparing observations from various samples we derive constraints their burst properties. The indicate very short periods and generally compatible Salpeter IMF large upper mass cut-off. use Hβ equivalent width as an age indicator works well galaxies. briefly comparisons in super clusters which also provide useful contraints evolutionary stars e.g. , at low metallicities inaccessible Local Group.
