摘要: The expansion of modern humans over the planet is one most spectacular events in course human evolution. During millions years, distinctive forms hominins evolved parallel and sometimes coexisted same regions. Between 60,000 40,000 y ago, species expanded out its African birthplace replaced all others. Neanderthals are best-known archaic to go extinct at this time. In PNAS, Lowe et al. (1) resolve pending issues surrounding mechanism evolutionary drama. Their study also fuels an increasing number questions on antiquity colonization Eurasia.
