摘要: In two experiments involving a total of 542 subjects, series slides depicting burglary was shown. After the initial event, subjects were exposed to one or more narratives about event that contained some misinformation neutral information four critical details. Finally, tested on their memories what they saw, and reaction times confidence levels measured. When took standard test in which item possible response option, responded very quickly confidently when making this incorrect choice. Misled as these “unreal” did genuine memories. It does not seem, then, effect arises from large proportion who must resolve conflict between are tested, would be expected take time. modified response, misled accurate controls, but slowly, regardless whether ultimately chose right wrong option. These findings indicate introduce form interference detected by simple accuracy.
