摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein utilize Habitats to perform incremental updates on virtual machines (VMs) over time. A VM Habitat comprises a collection of VMs and specification shared between these VMs. Each may define an image name, processing power, etc. exist across cluster servers. In some embodiments, dynamically update specification, only “spare” in the are updated, subject scheduling parameters server concurrency limit. As spare they move towards new specification. Eventually, all reach this goal time, given sufficient resources. This approach can allow service provided by remain operational, thus maintaining level required for its users. automated process also eliminate or otherwise reduce human error either removal/insertion from/to itself.
