摘要: A femtosecond pump-probe method is employed to study the dissociation dynamics of sulfur dioxide. SO2 molecules are excited F state by absorbing two photons 267 nm laser pulses, and ionized 400 pulses at different delay times between lasers. Transients both parent ions (SO+2) fragment (SO+, S+ O+) observed. The SO+2 transient can be well fitted a biexponential decay comprising fast slow component 280 fs 2.97 ps lifetimes, respectively. SO+ consists growth components 270 2.50 ps. results clearly show that dissociates along an S-O bond. transients O+, however, have behavior, which consist long component. possible mechanism formation discussed understand SO2.
