摘要: Urban drainage systems may prove locally inefficient as a consequence of an unexpected amount water failing to reach certain number inlets in the network. Local failures are indeed observed precipitation events with even lower intensities than design rainfall, when requested drain contributing areas that larger ones. Micro-topography effects usually responsible for local urban system, and their potential terms flooding can be investigated by taking proper degree topographic details into consideration. The associated failure system is this paper means flood propagation model specifically designed complex topography applied herein environment. involves hyperbolic two-dimensional solution De Saint Venant equations obtained over finite element representation spatial domain unstructured triangular This approach allows detailed description flow patterns stormwater volumes along surface network according actual performance existing inlets. results presented refer application case study catchment within Historic Centre town Genoa. simulations confirm micro-topography have produce significant depth velocity zones concentration, significantly affect behaviour whole.
