摘要: 1. The photodynamic activity of bonellin, an integumentary chlorin Bonellia viridis, is investigated. 2. 10(-6) M bonellin solutions haemolyze erythrocytes only in the presence light. Previous illumination (tungsten lamp 2000-4000 lux for 1 hr) does not affect results. Under lowered oxygen tensions bioactivity depressed. Benzoquinone and singlet quenchers delay effect. 3. Bonellin (2 x M) destroys echinoid gamete function, depresses uptake spermatozoa, arrests development eggs. These effects are produced 4. Copper photodynamically active. role copper may be to protect against photosensitization.
