摘要: The use of bioresorbable conduits supplemented with Schwann cells (SCs) is a promising tissue engineering technique to replace nerve grafting. Alginate hydrogel (AH), as SC matrix, has many advantages over previously used matrices but not been evaluated for this purpose. In study, the viability and proliferation SCs together function in AH was vitro. AlamarBlue cell assay monitor compared collagen gel, fibrin glue, hyaluronic acid, Matrigel, standard culture plate 5 days culture. results showed that growth different period did significantly differ when suspended monitored using chick embryo dorsal root ganglia (CDRG) assay. Growth CDRG or without matrix. After 3 culture, mean length neurite sprouting measured. there reduced 43% control. was, however, enhanced by 170% were gel. conclusion, supported vitro may be useful peripheral reconstructive procedures.
