Alleys on an apparent frontoparallel plane

摘要: Abstract In a previous article in this journal (T. Indow, (1979). Journal of Mathematical Psychology , 19 221–258), equations were presented for plane appearing frontoparallel the three-dimensional visual space and two alleys on that which run horizontally following way: an alley appears straight parallel (Hh) to be separated by constant interval (Dh). This is extension traditional equidistant toward subject horizontal plane. As was done Luneburg these alleys, defined Euclidean map (EM) under assumption Riemannian curvature K . present article, general definition perceptually lines EM discussed and, basis representation, new Hh Dh are given. Previous sets give same qualitative predictions as behavior Dh, but quantitatively different.
