摘要: Concentrations of four heavy metals were determined in tree leaves and bark collected from polluted non-polluted areas three European cities (Salzburg, Belgrade Thessaloniki) for a comparative study. Platanus orientalis L. Pinus nigra Arn., widespread urban northern southern Europe, tested their suitability air quality biomonitoring. Leaves barks uniformly an initial quantity about 30 g each sample. Analysis was accomplished by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry after total digestion. Site-dependent variations found with the highest concentration level measured Belgrade, followed Thessaloniki Salzburg. A higher accumulation compared to leaves. Pine bark, accumulating concentrations trace plane shows efficiency as bioindicator pollution. Both indicator species are suitable studies on bioindication
