Why is endometrial cancer less common in Greece than in other European Union countries

摘要: Among European countries, Greece has the lowest incidence of and mortality from endometrial cancer. We have undertaken a case-control study aiming to identify possible reasons for this. Cases were 84 women with histologically confirmed incident cancer, whereas controls another intact uterus admitted small gynaecological operations, mainly pelvic prolapse. Women provided information concerning socio-economic, reproductive medical variables. Most findings in line those previously reported other investigations; no association was as striking suggest an effect modification that could underlay favourable position respect Novel statistically significant inverse associations cancer coffee drinking suggestive height-induced abortions.
