摘要: In human neuropsychiatric disorders, there are functional and anatomical abnormalities of GABAergic interneurons in each temporal cortex subregion. Furthermore, accumulation amyloid-β is observed the early stages Alzheimer's disease. Each subregion has an important role coordinating input output hippocampus. When subregions impaired, memory learning ability decrease. control excitatory neurons, forming cortico-cortical cortico-hippocampal networks. However, subregions, details distribution developmental processes perineuronal nets (PNNs) have not been elucidated. Here we examined development PNNs mouse subregions. Results indicate that different to those primary sensory cortex. addition, density lower than found Wisteria floribunda agglutinin-reactive extracellular matrix molecule present upper level layer 1 These results support idea develop differently from other cortical regions region-specific characteristics after maturation. The study suggested structure significantly may be highly vulnerable neurodegenerative disorders.
