摘要: This study aims to evaluate antiretroviral therapy in children and adolescents with AIDS. We selected 247 abstracts published from 1983 2013, collected the PubMed LILACS databases. Sixty-nine articles were selected. Attention research pediatric age bracket 30 years of epidemic is explained by group's immunological characteristics, since AIDS progresses faster than adults. Recent studies focus on initiation highly active before onset symptoms. Early introduction combination has been implemented effectively safely populations limited resources, leading significantly improved survival. The current challenge manage a chronic disease acute complications. New should population specificities identify individual needs patients.
