摘要: High oleic sunflower seeds, with higher oil content and greater acid than other are gaining in economic importance. However, there still major gaps knowledge concerning their post-harvest handling. This study was carried out, to establish a simply implemented method of classifying the seeds via air-separation, which allows rapid precise assignment high into different quality classes. Physical properties were evaluated compared earlier studies. A low hull kernel ratio 0.26 ± 0.04 found, seed masses ranging from 0.024 0.108 g. positive correlation between mass (r = 0.993) observed but negligible correlations length, width, thickness found. Seed analysis air-separation classes indicated highly (F1 score = 0.966) allocation based classes, below 5% false positives. Thus, significant difference ratio, bulk density, porosity, sphericity, angle repose, rupture force vertical transversal orientation found for Rupture horizontal orientation, true density static friction did not reveal any class differences. Threshold values air velocity where therefore established that can classify qualities optimise postharvest handling operations.
