摘要: Data from 1,919 outbred ICR mice were used to examine the potential usefulness of growth curve parameters as selection criteria for altering relationship between body weight and age. A logistic function was model through 12 weeks Estimates asymptotic (A), maximum rate (r) age at point inflection (t*) obtained by nonlinear least-squares. log transformation also stabilize residual variance. Phenotypic genetic estimated weights 2, 3, 4.5, 6, 8 Heritabilities (obtained with without a transformation, respectively) were: (0.28±0.07, 0.28±0.07), r (0.35±0.07, 0.53±0.09) t* (0.41±0.08, 0.44±0.08). Estimated correlations suggest that may be useful in selecting rapid early increasing mature weight.
