摘要: The Chk2 kinase is a tumor suppressor and key transducer of DNA-damage checkpoints. We show that the human protein relatively stable, nuclear, responding to γ-radiation throughout cell cycle. Contrary retinoblastoma protein-regulated, labile Chk1 restricted S-G2 phases, remains activatable even in quiescent differentiating cells. In tissues, homogeneously expressed renewing populations such as epidermis or intestine, heterogeneous conditionally absent cytoplasmic static tissues muscle brain. These data highlight striking differences between unexpected correlation expression with tissue biology.
