摘要: In the previous chapter, several experimental manipulations designed to demonstrate that secretions of hypothalamus, anterior pituitary, and ovary can have stimulatory inhibitory effects on one another were discussed. These approaches basically analytic. They served dissect a particular hormone tissue from its tissue. From this analytic approach, an appreciation was gained range potential reactions hormonal stimuli individual components hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis. However, approach does not indicate which are actually utilized during course normal reproductive cycles. Nor method deal with question how various actions hormones become linked together form repeatable endocrine pattern consistent periodicity. To resolve these problems, must adopt more synthetic outlook.
