摘要: In the present work, a cuckoo search optimisation-based approach has been developed to allocate static shunt capacitors along radial distribution networks. The objective function is adopted minify system operating cost at different loading conditions and improve voltage profile. addition find optimal location values of fixed switched in networks with levels using proposed algorithm. Higher potential buses for capacitor placement are initially identified power loss index. However, that method proven less than satisfactory as indices may not always indicate appropriate placement. At moment, identifies sizing takes final decision optimum within number nominated minimum effective locations lesser injected VArs. overall accuracy reliability have validated tested on systems differing topologies varying sizes complexities. results shown by found outperform existing heuristic algorithms literature given problem.
