Synthesis and characterization of pure and Sb/Sn doped ZnTe for solar cell application

摘要: Solar cells are low-cost, highly efficient medium for the realization of a renewable and eco friendly energy source. Thin film ZnTe Sb/Sn doped have been deposited on glass substrate by making use evaporation technique at high vacuum. The influence properties (structural, morphological optical) due to Sb Sn doping, were investigated. From XRD measurement it has observed that nature changes from polycrystalline amorphous after addition dopants in thin film. composition micro structural characterization done means SEM EDAX. For optical samples, absorption spectra determined. constants such as coefficient (α), band gap extinction (k) investigated spectral range 400–1000 nm. change behavior films is explained terms defect states.
