摘要: A method is introduced to correlate data from high-pressure arc heaters. It suited for those heaters which have losses dominated by radiation. The correlation valid both laminar and turbulent flows. Turbulence postulated effect only the thermal conduction, not electrical conduction or introduction of azimuthal velocity (i.e., swirl) flow can stabilize at center. An axial decay swirl will result in loss stability secondary scaling parameters also been applied vortex stabilized arcs. introduced, using developed parameters.
