摘要: Abstract Anisotropy is a common feature for most of fibrous and porous media. This article reports new method measuring the 2D anisotropic permeability rock utilizing measurements obtained from steady-state flow between two concentric cylinders. The mathematical analysis experimental data based on general solution pressure equation derived an medium solution, incorporating degree anisotropy ratio inner outer cylinder radii, presented in dimensionless form. shows that distribution cylinders composed isotropic part plus series representing contribution anisotropy. validated through comparison against numerically results analytical extreme cases; when clearance vanishes, material isotropic. validation perfect performance proposed even vicinity not like approximate solutions existing literature. also truncation has impact specially case Two procedures 1) basic approach 2) modified approach, “pear” “tent” charts demonstrate how to obtain principle permeabilities their directions. applicability techniques attained application over real holed core experiment estimate parameters. technique required modifications tight cores are discussed. Also, relation three-dimension plane presented.
