摘要: Abstract : Chronic migraine is a disabling disorder that affects millions of individuals worldwide, and may result from traumatic brain injury. The purpose this study was to use rodent models basic mechanisms characterize new potential treatments for chronic migraine. scope the research investigate multiple novel drug on migraine-related excitability, pain-sensing mechanisms, behavior. major outcomes were development platform assays screening, identification therapies. Specifically, we found acid sensing ion channel inhibitor amiloride inhibited cortical spreading depression, trigeminovascular activation, hyperalgesia. We also delta opioid receptor agonists depression related Memantine but did not inhibit activation or Our studies thus identified other inhibitors, agonists, as promising candidates clinical trials treatments.
