摘要: Abstract We report large scale deposition of tapered zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorods on Si(1 0 0) substrate by using newly designed metal–organic complex (Zn) as the precursor, and microwave irradiation assisted chemical synthesis a process. The coatings are uniform high density ZnO (∼1.5 μm length) grow over entire area (625 mm2) within 1–5 min irradiation. obtained solution phase yield strong UV emission. Variation molecular structure/molecular weight precursors surfactants influence crystallinity, morphology, optical properties coatings. in addition with surfactant solvent widely used to obtain desired coating any substrate. growth mechanism schematics process discussed.
