First Demonstration of an Alertness Monitoring Management System

摘要: Abstract : The increasing speed and complexity of current information technology make it possible for computerized systems to monitor the physical environment with acuity. However, capacity human operator or decision maker maintain alertness this is not increasing, relatively little effort has been invested in designing enhance operators' abilities alertness. Despite common assumptions that while we are awake our secure unbroken, many years vigilance research attests most all monitoring equipment operators (e.g., air traffic control, sonar, radar), maintaining a constant level rare, if impossible. Yet, no system currently exists can an operator's directly, deliver timely about lapses and/or supervisor, initiate appropriate countermeasures.
