Communications and input/output switching in a multiplex computing system

摘要: This paper discusses the general communications and input/output switching problems in a large-scale multiplexed computing system. A basic goal of such system is to serve simultaneously continuously wide range large number users. By rapidly time-multiplexing use computer facilities on behalf these users, attempts satisfy completion time response desires both on-line interactive user absentee user.
