Interactive Sensing and Decision Making in Social Networks

摘要: The proliferation of social media such as real time microblogging and online reputation systems facilitate sensing patterns behavior. In the last decade, decision making in networks have witnessed significant progress electrical engineering, computer science, economics, finance, sociology research communities. Research this area involves interaction dynamic random graphs, socio-economic analysis, statistical inference algorithms. This monograph provides a survey, tutorial development, discussion four highly stylized examples: learning for interactive sensing; tracking degree distribution networks; information diffusion; coordination via game-theoretic learning. Each examples is motivated by practical examples, comprises literature survey together with careful problem formulation mathematical analysis. Despite being stylized, these provide rich variety models, algorithms analysis tools that are readily accessible to signal processing, control/systems theory, applied mathematics audience.
