摘要: Disclosed is an improved cryogenic demethanizer, for separating inlet hydrocarbon gas having a mixture of components into residual lighter fraction and heavier liquid fraction. The fractionation column in the demethanizer has main body portion upper enlarged with respect to portion. A packing which may be form plurality contact trays, or random located column. invention used retrofit existing demethanizers, new installations.
