摘要: Objective. To determine the relative importance of modelled peak spine loads, hand trunk kinematics and cumulative loads as predictors reported low back pain (LBP). Background. The authors have recently shown that both biomechemical psychosocial variables are important in reporting LBP. In previous studies, spinal load risk factors been identified while there is vitro evidence for adverse effects excessive on tissue, little epidemiological evidence. Methods. Physical exposures to lumbar moment, compression shear forces, kinematics, forces hands were analyzed 130 randomly selected controls 104 cases. Univariable multivariable odds ratios calculated from a backwards logistic regression analysis. Interrelationships among examined by factor analysis. Results. Cases showed significantly higher loading all biomechanical variables. Four independent identified: integrated moment (over shift), ‘usual’ force, force at level L4L5 velocity. Substituting or did not appreciably alter because high correlations these variables. Conclusions. Cumulative Spinal tissue estimates model provide information included inputs alone. Workers top 25% exposure about six times LBP when compared with those bottom 25%.
