摘要: Accurate and reproducible measures are required to study arterial stiffness in human populations. The reproducibility of aortic pulse wave velocity was evaluated 14 participants from a population-based cardiovascular disease the elderly. Three data files were collected per participant by each two sonographers read readers. Seven returned for second visit 1 week later assess between-visit variability. Reproducibility with Pearson intraclass correlations absolute value difference between replicate values. overall reliability coefficient rI = 0.77. Between-sonographer, between-reader, rP 0.80 0.87, 0.73 0.89 0.63. mean replicates 59.4 94.0 cm/sec 88.7 112.8 readers, respectively. These results indicate that PWV measure is even when readers newly trained.
