摘要: Abstract In spite of the fact engineers are familiar with idea that physical systems can be modelled in various ways, it is often stated probability theory only way modelling uncertainties and degrees belief about those uncertainties. The thesis advanced here within certain bounds (which specified) there many ways representing uncertainty. particular ideas fuzzy sets shown to entirely compatible. A voting model used illustrate argument before basis formal treatment outlined. Finally a set conjectures types problem might best tackled by probabilistic inference.
