摘要: Abstract Quick filtration is an important and complex process within the conventional treatments of water purifica-tion, since it final physical barrier to retain particles control microbiological risk. This study evaluated influence flow on clarified Cauca River city Cali – Colombia (Puerto Mallarino Water Treatment Plant) at pilot scale. Operation´s results plant a declining rate condition were compared with previous operation constant rate; operational variables filters turbidity filtered load loss. In general, allowed better performance filters, resulting in lower during period maximum efficiency outcome loss, behavior that associated distribution solids filter media, which allows reduce risk transfer through filter.
