摘要: Abstract Co-occurrence of nanoplastics (NPs) with metal oxide nanoparticles (nMOx) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) have been widely reported. However, there is a scarcity information on their interactions combined toxic effects. In this study, we used two different sized NPs [55 nm (NP1) 100 nm (NP2)] to understand the effect nMOx (nCuO nZnO) PAHs [chrysene (Chr) fluoranthene (Flu)] NPs’ stability toxicity zebrafish. Results revealed that increasing concentration nMOx, zeta-potential increased, charge reversal was observed in suspension while PAH produced no major changes. Aggregation kinetics performed exhibited higher aggregation presence NaCl alleviated critical coagulation concentration. NP1 stabilized size otherwise unstable tap-water for longer period, whereas, NP2. The vivo comet assay results showed more genotoxic than NP2 owing lower size. Interestingly DNA damage highest NPs+nMOx followed by NPs. Unlike Chr/Flu+NPs reduced as compared or alone. Alteration catalase activity lipid peroxidation value indicated oxidative stress all exposure groups.
