摘要: Chemiluminescent (CL) reactions have been observed using molecular beams of phosphorus, antimony, and bismuth colliding with ozone as a scattering gas. The fluorescence spectra indicate the formation electronically excited PO2, SbO2, BiO2, probably SbO BiO, well. None emitting states dioxides seem to correspond previously characterized states. Since beam source could generate variable ratios atoms, dimers, tetramers, CL can be attributed P, Sb, Sb2, Bi. assignments reactant species were aided by measurements total dependence on time dependence. time-dependent experiments also revealed antimony bismuth, which are second order in ozone. Fits show that whereas first-order reaction P proceeds without potential barrier, for Sbn Bi, only second-order occur very high barriers.
