摘要: Women now constitute the fastest-growing population of persons with AIDS in U.S. The psychosocial problems women and HIV infection are underrecognized, economic, personal, social resources to meet their needs often inadequate. authors describe development a group for HIV-infected discuss issues raised by members. feel isolated experience stigma shame. Their roles as caregivers wives mothers changed or lost, they anxiety confusion about options sexual activity. They sometimes fear transmitting family members through non-sexual contact.
