摘要: The control of the ultracold collisions between neutral atoms is an extensive and successful field study. tools developed allow for chemical reactions to be managed using magnetic fields, light fields spin-state manipulation colliding particles among other methods. in atom-ion a young growing research. Recently, collision energy ion electronic state were used interactions. Here, we demonstrate spin-controlled inelastic processes. In our experiment, both spin-exchange charge-exchange are controlled Rb-Sr$^+$ mixture by atomic spin state. We prepare cloud single hyperfine spin-state. Spin-exchange subsequently polarize spin. Electron transfer only allowed (RbSr)$^+$ singlet manifold. Initializing various states affects overlap wavefunction with molecular manifold therefore also reaction rate. experimentally show that preparing different one can vary rate agreement theoretical predictions.
