摘要: The Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) is a highly speciose family that has been poorly studied at the regional level in Mexico. In present study, we estimated species richness and diversity oak-pine forest, Tamaulipan thorny scrub tropical deciduous forests Peregrina Canyon within Altas Cumbres Protected Area of northeastern state Tamaulipas, Sampling consisted five sweep net samples (200 sweeps) each three sites during four sample periods: early dry season, late wet season. Species were identified total numbers per recorded for sample. A 2,226 specimens collected belonging to six subfamilies, 81 genera 157 from study area. Galerucinae was most abundant subfamily with 1,828 specimens, representing 82.1% abundance Lower Cassidinae (8.5%), Eumolpinae (3.6%), Cryptocephalinae (2.2%), Chrysomelinae finally Criocerinae (1.3%). highest also presented 49% obtained followed by (20%), (9.7%), (6.5%) (5.2%). common Centralaphthona fulvipennis Jacoby (412 individuals), diversa (Baly) (248), Margaridisa sp.1 (219), Acallepitrix (134), Longitarsus (104), Heterispa vinula (Erichson) (91), Epitrix (84) Chaetocnema (72). Twenty-two doubletons (1.97% abundance) 52 singletons (2.33%). overall density value 0.0037 individuals/m2. greatest individuals lowest elevation site. However, alpha increased increasing altitude. Similarity values less than 50% among indicating site had distinct assemblages Chrysomelidae. whereas indices work represents first report altitudinal variation richness, abundance, These results highlight importance conservation this heterogeneous habitat establish baseline data region.
