摘要: Abstract The accommodation of small γ-phase precipitates within the surrounding matrix in CuZnAl single crystals has been studied using High Resolution Electron Microscopy (HREM). When embedded a β-phase matrix, HREM images at atomic resolution show that are fully coherent with matrix. formed only superlattice spots always located antiphase boundaries β Considering correspondences between image and positions, analysis indicates they next-nearest neighbor (APB), two possible shift vectors. Inside precipitates, microdomains can also be observed. them not boundaries, but planar defects breaking translational symmetry lattice. martensitic becomes difficult due to intrinsic deformation associated transformation. Relaxational processes take place near interface, such as formation self-accommodating plates around well dislocations.
