摘要: Abstract The effects of adding particles CaO to a hot bed quartz sand, fluidised by N2, often containing small amounts NO and CO, were investigated, especially study the reduction N2. These observations indicate that surfaces are efficient catalysts in presence Boudouard reaction: 2 CO → Cs + CO2. In addition, catalyses NO + CO → ½ N2 + CO2. kinetic parameters describing nett rate constant for overall conversion N2 measured first time with as catalyst; activation energy is 27 ± 8 kJ/mol. This reaction was found be more important removing than: NO + Cs → CO + ½ graphite carbon, Cs. It also appears fuel-rich, at ∼1000 K produces CaC2, which demonstrated here react readily very exothermally in: CaC2 + 5 NO → 5/2 N2 + CaO + 2 CO2, thereby quickly producing CO2. production CaC2 from carbon continues long time; mechanism discussed probably involves catalysis NO. excess air, can produced fixing atmospheric give CaCN2, oxidised later, i.e.: CaC + N → CaCN C, 5 / O CO . Thus conspicuous interaction between complicated continued formation whose subsequent depends on whether conditions fuel-lean (oxidising) or rich (reducing).
