摘要: Many Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) applications achieve a decent packet delivery ratio using mobility information in the beacon messages broadcasted to single hop neighbours. Recently it has been found that if two VANET nodes are not within line of sight (LoS), performance employed can be significantly degraded. Most existing researches assume ideal effective transmission range which does consider Non-LoS (NLoS) scenario. To fill this gap, paper provides new mechanism: (a) keep track LoS status individual vehicles on road (b) make sure even case NLoS, maintain their communication with neighbors, and (c) preserve location confidentiality privacy users conditionally at all times during communication. We propose beacons-assisted plausibility-based technique figure out NLoS cooperative mechanism guarantee smooth between NLoS. In affected raise alarms through beacons neighbors clear target provide vehicle desired information. Moreover we privacy-aware neighbor lists location-based encryption for aforementioned purpose take security whole system into account.
