摘要: Assessing and controlling for nonresponse bias is critical the validity reliability of survey-based logistics research. In order to gain a better understanding how researchers assess report in their studies, we analyzed articles published from 1998 through 2007 three top journals (International Journal Physical Distribution Logistics Management, Business Logistics, Transportation Journal). We describe explore has been handled these articles. Our findings show that first, survey response rates have declined over time; this influences generalizability results case nonresponse. Second, an average 44% mail does not mention tests detecting bias.
