摘要: Motivated by evidence of local electron-electron attraction in experiments on disordered insulating films, we propose a two-component Coulomb glass model that combines strong disorder and long-range repulsion with the additional possibility pockets short-range interelectron attraction. This hosts variety interesting phenomena, particular crucial modification gap previously believed to be universal. Tuning interaction repulsive, find nonmonotonic humps density states within gap. We further study variable-range hopping transport such systems extending standard resistor network approach include motion both single electrons pairs. In certain parameter regimes competition between these two types carriers results distinct peak resistance as function strength, which can tuned magnetic field.
