摘要: Abstract The genus Klebsiella (family Enterobacteriaceae ), of which K. pneumoniae and oxytoca are the two most commonly isolated members, consists gram-negative, non-motile, encapsulated rods. As opportunistic pathogens, spp. can cause a variety illnesses including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, septicemia, soft tissue, intravenous, meningitis, liver abscess, gastrointestinal disease, in immunocompromised or those with underlying conditions. Current studies strongly suggest that klebsiellae, particular , may also be associated syndromes include antibiotic-associated hemorrhagic colitis.
