摘要: Discovered in 1984 (Shechtman et al. 1984), icosahedral (i) quasicrystals (QCs) exhibit a forbidden fivefold diffraction pattern with sharp peaks indicating the presence of long range-order similar to one crystals. This discovery has stimulated interactions between scientists from many different fields. Intense efforts over last decade by dedicated QCs have firmly established this new form solid state physics. Since are found metallic alloys, metallurgy plays an important role field. Great progress been made and highly perfect QCs. We now better understanding which leads us address some very basic issues concerning structural quality comparable single-grain silicon discovered. Like crystalline solids, several kinds lattices like intermetallic compounds, synthesized groups elements chemistry. As result, name “quasicrystal” included as for first time text book physics (Kittel 1995).In article, I shall describe results obtained aspects that particular importance metallurgical community.
