摘要: COMMERCIAL GOLD LEAF, when electrostatically charged, has a remarkable hemostatic effect on wounded arteries and veins as well capillary bleeding. Its usefulness for this purpose covering sutured openings holes in the dura mater, control of hemorrhage from bone, an agent preventing adhesions between mater brain, demonstrated laboratory human, is subject report. An electrostatic charge conferred gold leaf merely by stroking camel hair brush against rubber comb then touching with charged brush. Accepting its electrical sticking to brush, can be placed directly site hemorrhage, or any other surgical target. When touched tissue surface, it released immediately clings tightly
